Last year in BUHI

The morning after The Morning After (the New Year revelry), I have decided that the best way to take care of the hangovers and the leftovers would be a nice picnic or a tour to a refreshing destination for something like a change of scenery. So I took the good ol’ folks from Iriga City to  a 30-minute drive to the nearest body of water  –the Lake Buhi.
The home of the world’s smallest fish (sinarapan) on a dismal gray weather. Into each picnic, some rain must fall.
"Survivors." Referring to the town pioneers who fled the wrath of Mayon Volcano and found themselves in this place many centuries ago.

A short drizzle

Violent winds from atop a hill where Maguindara Resort used to be

A sentinel past its prime

Limp and soiled Christmas

A typical after-New Year's Eve scene. Everyone's gone to the moon
